REMINDER!!!
Phishing scams are only getting more prevalent and complex. Recently, Credit Unions have reported a phishing scam using an automated telephone service.
Many Credit Union Websites have also been subject to illegal phishing emails. These emails have been sent to Credit Union members and non-members to collect their account information (user names, passwords, etc.). Please DO NOT click on the Website link, call any phone numbers, or respond to any automated systems that tell you the Credit Union's information is out of date and you need to update or complete. Please contact the Credit Union if you are a victim of this illegal phishing at (906)524-6151.
We call our Fraud Service Center that analyzes VISA and Debit Mastercard transactions Card Member Security. If they contact you, they may need to verify your identity. The only information they will ask you for is birthdate and/or the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. If a contact asks for more information than the above, do not release any information and call the Credit Union as soon as possible.
